Name : Teng Haibin
Country : China
Date Of Birth : January 2, 1985
Height : 156cm

He won a total of 3 gold medals in gymnastic in Guangzhou, each in Parallel bar, men's individual all round and mens' team.

Teng Haibin was born into a working class family in Beijing. When he was in the kindergarten, a gymnastics coach spotted him and discovered that he had a flexible body, a prequisite requirement for a gymnast. The coach approached and persuaded his parents to allow Teng Haibing to be trained in gymnastics.

Teng Haibin was a good boy who never caused much problem at home or to his parents. He was leading a comfortable life at home. When he was sent to undergo gymnastics training, life was difficult but this did not deter the small boy from continuing his training. He was able to withstand the tough life in the training school better than other boys. He won his first gymnatic trophy in 1993 at age 8 but unfortunately on his way home, he accidentally broke the porcelein made trophy. He picked up the broken pieces of the trophy and continued walking home. At home his father pasted the broken trophy piece by piece to it's original shape. 10 years after winning his first gymanstic trophy in a small competition in his hometown he won the gold medal at the World Championship in Anaheim, California, USA.

He likes football and his favorite team is Juventus and Alessandro Del Piero as his favorite player. However his coach often forbids him from playing football to avoid any unforeseen injuries. He compensates of this deprivation by watching life football on TV.
