The winner is Mr Dominican Republic, Erick Jimenez Sabater. However his victory is surrounded by controversies over the preferential treatment he received from the organiser and the panel of judges consisted almost all from his own country. The whole controversy started when one of the contestants disclosed that Erick had attitude problem, did not get along well with the other guys and was given special "treatment" by the organiser. This same claim was later supported by a few other contestants.
Looking at the lineup of this year's contestants, Erick was one of standouts in the competition, in other words deserved to win However if the claim that he had attitude problem was true, then he shouldn't have won despite his physical advantages over the other guys.
