Started out as a model, he got into modelling by chance. He was scouted by a modelling agency while he was shopping with friends when he was a teen and was doing part time modelling until he completed his studies. He worked as a model for several years before venturing into acting. He made his full acting debut in 2001 and started to gain fame after starring in the hit movie, Internal Affairs in 2002. Since then has appeared in more than 40 movies and a few tv dramas.
